RAVENNA MONCREIFF
Ravenna Moncreiff is a spiritual
healer with over nine years’ training and experience.
She is a full Member of the College of Healing and
also holds the ITEC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Body
Massage. She is qualified in First Aid, and has an up-to-date
Lifesaver Plus certificate from St John Ambulance.
Ravenna was born and grew
up in Scotland, and has also lived in France and Belgium,
as well as London. She has had a lifelong interest in physical
health, and is intrigued by its relationship with mental and
emotional wellbeing, and spirituality. Ravenna is very much
drawn to ethics, politics and metaphysics. She has a deep
concern for human rights, and the protection of wildlife and
the natural environment. She feels at home with the mystical
(rather than doctrinal) aspects of religion, and identifies
to a great extent with Native American spiritual values.

For over 13 years, Ravenna
pursued a career in and around politics, working for the European
Parliament, and also as an in-house government relations adviser.
Language and communication have been a significant theme in
her professional life. She has a Master’s degree in Politics
(Comparative Government) from the London School of Economics,
and a BA in General Studies (French, Italian and Anthropology)
from Durham University.
 Ravenna has a passion for
both natural and artistic beauty. Time spent in France and
Italy in her late teens, and in London later on, stimulated
her love and appreciation for the creative arts in general.
In 1998, she took up drumming, and has run her own rehearsal
band (mainly rock music). Ravenna dances for fun (in various
styles, including her own) and can also play the piano (classical).
She has a special affinity with dance and swing music.
